Camp Kannawin Registration Now Open

Camp Kannawin’s registration for the 2014 Camping Season is now open!!
 
Camp Kannawin is situated just west of Jarvis Bay Provincial Park, on the shores of Sylvan Lake, five minutes north of the town of Sylvan Lake.

What is Camp Kannawin?
 
Camp Kannawin is a Christian camp owned and operated by the congregations of the Synod of Alberta and the Northwest, the Presbyterian Church in Canada. Camp programs are offered for children and youth ages 6-18 throughout the summer as well as other programs for all ages throughout the year.
 
Online Staff Applications Now Open!!
 
Camp Kannawin is now also accepting applications for all summer positions for this coming season!!!. Please check out the revised job descriptions on our PAID POSITIONS page. There you will also find the link to apply online now.
 
If you applied last year, you can use your same username and password and that will load your application from last year. If you have forgotten your username and password - don't worry!  There is a link on the sign in page to help you recover them.  Once signed in, you will need to go through each page and validate that the answers are still accurate.

2014 Program Overview
 
FAMILY Camp targets the whole crew out for a weekend of fun, relaxation and fellowship. Activities will be provided for all ages together and other activities for just the kids or the adults separately. There will be plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful, natural setting the camp has to offer.
 
ADVENTURE & ARTS Camp includes all the regular camping experiences plus added emphasis on music, drama, dance or visual arts. Not to be missed!!
 
SENIOR HIGH Nordegg Wilderness Challenge includes off-site adventures such as white-water rafting, rock climbing, rappelling and hiking. Lots of fun and fellowship in a spectacular outdoor setting in the foothills near Nordegg!
 
Leaders in Training (LIT) Program runs from July 27th - August 8th. After completing the LIT course, your teenaged 15-16 years of age will be trained in: conflict resolution, debriefing techniques, leadership principles, fundamental bible study skills, camping skills, and programming recreational activities.
