The Council is a group that works ecumenically on issues of common concern for Christians, including common worship, justice issues, education and dialogue with other faiths to build a better society for Edmonton that is safe, peaceful, just and harmonious. Rev. Currie (Minister at First Church) is the vice-president of the EDCC.
